i have a vox wah wah pedal which i use throughout the song in different parts.  
if u dont have a wah wah then the solo in here wont work, but i can show u the rest of the song

verse

put your wah wah on and pull it back, so the back of the pedal is touching the base of the pedal.
then mute all of your strings with your hand, except the A string, and let it vibrate and feedback, 
and the do this

once u hit the strings and get the notes, mute them again, and continue to let the A string ring and 
feedback u can hear it on the cd

solo

for the solo, i wire my wah wah backwards, (plug the cord that goes to the input to the output and the 
cord that goes to the output in the input,) and i turn it on and it makes a high squealy noise.  i turn my 
neck pickup off and my bridge on and when i use the toggle i can turn the squeal on and off. also, to 
get the different pitches like tom morello does, you can rock the wah a little bit and play with the 
volume on the guitar.  the wah needs to be in the full back position, like in the verse for this to work. i 
have a vox wah wah so i  dont know if it will work with other types of wahs. try it anyway, and good
